花蝴蝶儿童舞蹈团

The Butterfly Children's Dance Group provides a unique fusion of ballet and Chinese dance to children age 3 – 12. In our classes, we challenge and support our students to reach their artistic and technical promise.

• Learning ballet fundamentals (RAD Exam, Beijing Ballet Exam)
• Using ballet as a foundation for form and flexibility
• Applying ballet techniques in Chinese dance, concentrating on both application of technique and movement as well as Chinese cultural style and taste.

• Pre-Ballet: age 3 to 6
• Dance II: age 7-12

• Pre-Ballet: 2:00-3:00pm
• Dance II: 12:30-1:30pm

• Leotard: Solid colored leotard (pink is preferred)
• Tights: Full-footed pink tights (with or without seams)
• Ballet Slippers: Pink leather (preferred) or canvas ballet slippers.

花蝴蝶儿童舞蹈团以“英皇芭蕾考级教材”为蓝本，辅以“北舞考级教材”中国舞蹈的基本功训练方式，让孩子们在快乐中学习芭蕾，热爱中华文化和中国民族舞蹈。在独特的芭蕾和中国舞相结合的舞蹈训练下，儿童舞蹈团每年都有不同形式的舞蹈作品在巴尔的摩和大华府地区的舞台上呈现。在每年一度的中文学校春晚和The Walters Art Museum Celebrates Lunar New Year 的舞台上留下了许多脍炙人口的舞蹈节目，受到了观众们的好评。
